Panel
Details
The Rib-line panel is manufactured from 0.55mm thick galvanised
or pre-painted steel roll formed steel and is 40mm deep. Each
ribbed panel is made up of two 300mm high sections as standard.
End and intermediate stiles shall be riveted to the door sections
and manufactured from 1.6mm galvanised steel channel to provide
rigidity and strengthening to the whole door construction.
Where doors exceed 5400mm in width, double end stiles shall
be fitted. The bottom panel shall be fitted with a rubber
seal.
Ventilation (Optional)
The Rib-line panels can be fully perforated.
Vision Panels
(Optional)
The Rib-line can also be combined with acrylic panels for
vision. Consult Airport Doors for further information.
Locking
Doors not requiring motorisation shall be fitted with a standard
"T" handle lock, with two point locking system.
OPTIONAL: When specified an internal quick release slide arm
can be provided. The slide arm engages into the door guide
at one side and has provision for a padlock (padlock is not
supplied). This lock is not recommended when the door is motorised.
Operation
Sectional Overhead Doors operate by torsion springs and cables
allowing the hinged panels to travel smoothly within the guides.
The door travels behind the opening and rests horizontally
overhead in the open position as standard. Various installations
are available depending on application (limitations may apply).
