The Panorama Shutter is designed to provide security for internal large opening widths with provision for vision and ventilation. They are commonly used in shopping complexes, arcades, large entrances, shop fronts, buildings near the sea, and chemical enclosures.

Door Dimensions
Maximum Height: 3600mm*

Curtain
The Panorama curtain shall be manufactured using specially extruded interlocking aluminium slats of 100mm height by 19mm depth and 1.6mm thick to form a continuous curtain.
Each alternative slat shall be fitted with specially molded nylon end clips riveted to each end to prevent lateral movement. Tapered bottom rails can be manufactured upon request to suit the opening (limitations may apply).

Ventilation (Optional)
Ventilation can be provided by punching slots of 160mm long by 58mm high at 100mm spaces. The slots may be incorporated to any number of slats as specified. Slotted slats shall have an open area of approximately 36%.
Ventilation can also be provided by perforated slats. Each perforation is 6.5mm diameter and 13.25mm pitch giving the perforated slat an open area of approximately 22%.

Vision Panels (Optional)
Clear acrylic panels can be fitted to the back of the slotted aluminium slats to prevent dust and wind and to provide light and vision.

Finish
All aluminium sections can be natural anodised as standard. Various anodising and powdercoat colours are also available when specified.

Bottom Rail
The bottom rail shall be manufactured from specially extruded heavy gauge aluminium box section attached to the bottom slat for adequate strengthening of the aluminium shutter curtain.

Fixing
Plasterboard fixing is not adequate to secure the door components when installed.

Locking
Locking shall entail a centrally mounted, concealed key operated “lock focus” security type lock mechanism. It shall be keyed on the outside or inside (or both sides) fitted onto the bottom rail of the Roller Shutter. The lock can be fitted on chain operated shutters when specified.

Master Key Locking System (Optional) is available using either:
Lockwood 570 (on push button station or padlock for chain); Lock Focus V9C4; with spin cylinder and sleek appearance with lock protruding only 14mm.

Shootbolt System: Shootbolt system mechanism is also available as an option, which is not concealed as standard locks.

Operation
Operation is by means of chain or motorisation according to size. Chain operation is by endless chain and gear reduction. See Method of Operation.
