The Supa Slat Shutter with its extra strength design provides additional security for internal large opening widths with provision for vision, ventilation and insulation. They are ideally used in shopping complexes, arcades, large entrances, shop fronts, buildings near the sea, coolrooms and chemical enclosures.

Maximum Height: 4200mm*

*Total door size shall not exceed 30m². If using for external applications consult manufacturer for size details.

Curtain
The Supa Slat curtain shall be manufactured using specially extruded interlocking aluminium slats of 105mm height by 30mm depth by 1.6mm thick to form a continuous curtain. Each slat shall be fitted with a specially molded nylon end clip, riveted to each end to stop lateral movement. Tapered bottom rails can be manufactured upon request to suit the opening (limitations may apply).

Finish
All aluminium sections can be natural anodised as standard. Various anodising and powdercoat colours are also available when specified.

Ventilation (Optional)
Ventilation can be provided by punching slots of 58mm height and 160mm length at approximately 100mm spaces. The slots may be incorporated to any number of slats as specified.

Vision Panels (Optional)
Clear acrylic panels can be fitted to the back of the slotted aluminium slats to prevent dust and wind and to provide light and vision.

Insulation (Optional)
Sound or thermal insulation can be provided when specified.

Bottom Rail
The bottom rail shall be manufactured from specially extruded aluminium interlocking section measuring 165mm high by 30mm wide by 3mm thick.

Fixing
Plasterboard fixing is not adequate to secure the door components when installed.

Locking
Shootbolt system mechanism is available upon request for chain operated shutters.

Operation
Operation is by means of chain or motorisation according to size. Chain operation is by endless chain and gear reduction. See Method of Operation.
